Integrated Security System
Stands for Augmented Reality which is an upgraded version from QR Code’s technology. It is a live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data.
How does it look like?
AR usually comes in a form of single card that consists of AR Code at one side of the card and company’s logo at the other. At a glance, AR Code looks similar to QR Code. In fact, they even share the same initial step of identifying authentic products where users will have to scan the code first before proceeding onto next steps.
How to use it?
Initially, users will have to scan the AR Code first using a barcode scanner application from their Android or iOS phone.
After that, they will be prompted to download a specific application that is specially developed for this purpose from either Play Store or Apps Store.
The specific application would later used to scan the company’s logo.
From there they could see various things such as company’s corporate video, GPS to company’s office or factory, 3D building, a globe with specific verbal explanation and more, depending on how the company wants it to look like.
